The Local Market the place to be
The Local Market at Silverstar is every Sunday and proves entertaining for old and young.
The Local Market partnered with Silverstar to create a specialised market that will promote small businesses, musicians, artists and passionate locals. Stallholders showcase their products and talents every Sunday, at Silverstar, from 9am to 4pm.
News journalist, Natasha Pretorius, went along to take a look.
The market is packed with different stalls and unique products that you don’t usually see at this kind of market. The food on offer is also exquisite and different, and the entertainment, provided by talented young locals, is excellent.
This is a family event, with plenty for the kids to do as well.
Entrance to the market, which runs only until 28 February, is free, so check it out while you can.
