Young man critical after early morning Robert Broom roll-over accident
A young man has been left in a critical condition after his car rolled.
An accident in the early hours of Sunday morning, 24 February, has left a young man in a critical condition.
According to a statement from Netcare 911’s media liaison officer, Shaun Herbst, their paramedics were called out to a collision on Robert Broom Drive in Chancliff at 4.38am.

When they got to the scene, they found that a young man, approximately 25-years-old, the only person in the car, had been thrown from the car after it rolled several times.

Herbst said the man was assessed by an advanced life support paramedic and found to be in a critical condition after sustaining a traumatic brain injury.
Once he was stabilised, he was transported to hospital for further treatment.
