Hike the Koppies

3 MARCH — Join a guided group tour of three to four hours through the Melville Koppies. The tour sets off at 3pm sharp. Park in the upper parking area at Marks Park on Judith Road, Emmarentia and then walk across to the entrance. Hikers must be fit with good balance as paths are rocky and steep. Children must be over six years old. Sorry, no dogs allowed. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children – all donations are used to maintain the Koppies. CBD Crime Forum Meeting
6 MARCH — The station commander at the Krugersdorp Police Station, Brigadier Mashau, has requested the West Rand Chamber of Business and Tourism to assist with the revival of the CBD Crime Forum. While the forum was active some years ago the channels of communication between businesses and the police resulted in effective action against criminal elements in the CBD. Businesses and residents are invited to a meeting that will take place at 10am on the 1st floor of the Krugersdorp Police Station. Classic Car Show
10 MARCH — Join the Annual Classic and Veteran vehicle show which will be held at Hoërskool Florida, Louis Botha Avenue, Florida from 7am. There will be food stalls and children’s entertainment.
