[TRAFFIC ALERT] Heavy traffic due to riot on Windsor Road

Motorists are warned about heavy traffic this morning, in and around Luipaardsvlei.

A riot has erupted on Windsor Road with tyres being burned in the street. Drivers are urged to avoid Windsor Road completely until the riot has ended and the road been cleared.

Also be advised that alternative routes, such as Paardekraal and Main Reef Roads are heavily congested.

Motorists are asked to please drive carefully, obey road regulations and be patient on their commutes this morning.
