Collision kills one man on R512 Lanseria road

Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R512 between Lanseria Airport and the N14.

The collision happened about 10pm on Saturday, 1 June.

Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in the collision.

The scene was assessed by paramedics who found that one person, a man, had died, and a female passenger had sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was not found on scene.

The woman was treated on scene and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
