UniCollege held its Mr & Miss UniCollege and UniHigh event at Mount Usambara on Thursday, 16 May.
According to their managing director, Laricia Smit, this was not just a typical beauty pageant, but rather a search for true ambassadors.
The students participated in various campus activities and team building activities. They were also judged on their academics, involvement and discipline.
The show’s theme was The Greatest Show and it was choreographed by Tenicke Smit, who previously competed in the World Championships in Performing Arts. The show included solo acts as well as group dances and singing.

Of the 40 finalists, 21 were from Krugersdorp and the rest from other areas of the West Rand.
Miss UniCollege 2019 is Tetelo Mpgapi, with Dani Buckley and Kwena Langa as first and second princesses respectively.
The Mr UniCollege second prince was Ebert de Koker, first prince was Brydan Liebenberg and the winner was Jeandre Erasmus.
Miss UniHigh was Eryn Pontus, the first princess is Mamello Moeletsi and second princess is Amber Palmer.
Lance Malgas is Mr UniHigh, with Tshegofatso Afilaka as first prince and Lesedi Matlou as second prince.
