Couple critical, man airlifted, in late night motorcycle crash in Krugersdorp North

Both required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.

Just after 9pm on Saturday night, 13 July, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Market Street in Krugersdorp North.

Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male motorcyclist with an adult female riding pillion lost control crashing into the pavement launching them down an embankment.

According to a statement from Netcare 911, both sustained critical injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.

Authorities busy at the scene.

Due to the nature of the man’s injuries, the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter Air Ambulance was activated to airlift him to a specialist hospital for further treatment.

The woman was treated on scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene.
