Millies Grade 3s save the environment

The Grade 3 learners from Millennium Primary School recently showed the grown-ups how it is done when they spent the day cleaning the area around the dam.

According to Charmain Badenhorst from the school, they run this project annually to raise awareness about pollution.

“During this event they also focused on health and safety, while appreciating nature,” she added.

Each child was equipped with a mask and gloves, and they were not allowed to pick up glass. The difference between the ‘before’ and ‘after’ was truly remarkable.
