“One man from a Dyna mini-truck had been ejected and was found five metres from his vehicle,” said the statement.

The statement said that the other man from the mini-truck was treated and transported to hospital by the Provincial Emergency Medical Services.

“The driver of the large truck was found in the middle of the road with numerous, serious injuries and was flown by the ER24 OnePlan Helicopter to a private hospital for further treatment,” explained Campbell.
Multiple fire and traffic departments were on scene because of the extent of the collision and the subsequent fire. The police were also on hand to investigate further.
