A warmer weekend ahead

The weekend is predicted to be less windy and somewhat warmer in general. Although the winter is still in full swing, an upswing from the earlier cold temperatures throughout the week is expected.

The cold front that hit Gauteng over the past few days seems to be passing, albeit slowly.

This weekend’s forecast promises somewhat warmer weather compared to the past number of days. Where some days in the week saw early morning temperatures of 1°C, predictions are that Saturday and Sunday will have morning temperatures of 4°C and 5°C respectively. The week also saw afternoon temperatures between 16°C and 20°C. Friday is expected to be a warmer 23°C in the afternoon.

The lack of a cold wind, as experienced earlier in the week, will also lead to a warmer real feel outside.

The weather prediction for the weekend is as follows:

Friday, 26 July – Sunny with 23°C in the afternoon

Saturday, 27 July – Partly cloudy with temperatures of 4°C in the morning and 20°C in the afternoon

Sunday, 28 July – Sunny with temperatures of 5°C in the morning and 21°C in the afternoon
