Starlight Garden Market

27 JULY — Looking for a great community event to attend? If so, make sure to visit Starlight Garden Market at 14 Starlight Close in Wilro Park at 10am. What can you expect? Boerewors rolls, rotis, biryani, samoosas, cakes and toasted sandwiches at the Tea Garden, while butter, cheese, jams, pickles, olives, dates and all sorts will be on sale at the market. Kloofendal Nature Reserve events

Kloofendal Nature Reserve is hosting a Guided Nature Walk.

27 & 28 JULY — Kloofendal Nature Reserve is hosting a Guided Nature Walk from 9am. A Friends of Kloofendal guide will present this walk, which costs R70 for adults, R60 for pensioners and R50 per child. There will also be a gold mine tour, presented by Rod Kruger, from 2pm. Richie’s Toy Fair and Classic Car Show

28 JULY — Collectors for Collectors brings you this favourite! All kinds of collectible toys, trains and models will be for sale at this toy fair, taking place at Hoërskool Florida from 8.30am. Entrance is R10. Leading specialist dealers will be at the show, selling all kinds of new and old collectibles. You can find model cars, games, trains, planes, Star Wars, Dinky Toys, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi Toys, TV and film-related collectibles, Lego, Scalextric, teddy bears, dolls, action figures and much, much more. Parking is free and there are catering facilities, a jumping castle for the kids and a display by the Community Emergency Response Team.
