Police wish learners luck ahead of exams

Manthata spoke to learners about safety, especially during the holidays.

The Hekpoort Police and other stakeholders recently visited primary schools in the area to wish the learners good luck with their exams.

Captain Manthata, Hekpoort Police station commander, police members of its Communication Department, Social Crime Prevention, Victim Empowerment as well as representatives from the Department of Health, and even Pastor Nesogolo from the Damhoek Christian Church visited Die Poort Primary School on Friday, 13 November at 8.30am.

Manthata spoke to learners about safety, especially during the holidays. The learners and teachers were also reminded to eat healthily, drink plenty of water, continue washing their hands and stay healthy.

The Health Department also immunised learners and then Pastor Nesogolo prayed for them.

The team then travelled to the Rand Gold Primary School where Mathata encouraged learners to study. Pastor Phuti from Hekpoort then read scripture and Pastor Chabalala prayed for the learners. They were also joined by Pastor Mlanbo from Munsieville.

The team, joined by Pastor Joseph from Magaliesburg, then visited the Magaliesburg Group of Schools to also bless them and pray for them.
