A man was shot and killed in his vehicle on Lisa Crescent, West Village during the early hours of Thursday morning, 7 January.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said in a statement paramedics arrived on the scene at 1.20am and found a light motor vehicle parked on the side of the road.
The body of a man was found lying in the driver’s seat,” he said.
Medics found that the man had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and he showed no signs of life.
“Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.”
Meiring added that three other people were also on scene, and it was found they had escaped injury.
“Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
