The Kagiso Police are asking the community to assist them in finding a man in connection with the rape of a woman recently.
Captain Solomon Sibiya, the Kagiso Police spokesperson said the victim and her boyfriend had an argument on 3 December 2020. They were at his place at the Boiketlo hostel and the victim decided that she was going to visit her sister who stays nearby.
When she approached the gate leading to her sister’s room, she saw the man in the photo as well as another man standing next to the gate.
They had a net with them and threw the net over the woman before they dragged her to the nearest bushes where they took turns raping her.
The victim kept screaming for help during the rape ordeal and was rescued by hostel residents. The two rapists fled the scene on foot,” Sibiya said.
