Bakkies collide in Krugersdorp: Four injured, one seriously

Netcare 911 responded to a collision between two bakkies on Friday evening.

Four people were injured, one seriously, when two bakkies collided at the Beyers Naudé Drive and Clinic Road intersection in Krugersdorp on Friday evening, 19 February.

Netcare 911’s Shawn Herbst explained that their paramedics responded to reports of a collision at about 6.50pm.

Reports indicate that two bakkies were involved in a collision. Paramedics found that one man had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic before he was transported to hospital by a private ambulance for further treatment.

“Three other patients who had sustained minor injuries declined ambulance transportation to hospital.”
