Confirmed – no riots in Krugersdorp despite social media allegations

During his address to the nation on Monday, President Cyril Ramaphosa said, "We should refrain from posting and circulating inflammatory messages on social media, and from spreading rumours or false reports that may create further panic."

Aside from Monday’s brief activity in Kagiso we reported on, authorities have confirmed that no further activity has been reported in the Krugersdorp area.
