Krugersdorp West retailer targeted: Armed robber threatens victims

A well-known retailer in Krugersdorp West was robbed by an armed man on Monday morning.

An armed robber is on the run after threatening shoppers at a well-known retailer on Rustenburg Road, Krugersdorp West on Monday, November 29.

Krugersdorp Police spokesperson Captain Raymond Sebonyane confirmed the incident that happened at about 08:00.

One unknown man armed with a firearm entered the store and threatened the victims, demanding money. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.”

No arrests have been made yet, no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

“The Krugersdorp Police are appealing to the community to come forward with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect.
