Girl, 17, found murdered in bushes in 2019: Man wanted for questioning

The body of a 17-year-old girl was found in the bushes behind the municipal offices near Tudor Road. A man is wanted for questioning.

The police are asking the community to assist them in finding a man who is wanted for questioning regarding a murder in Soul City.

In a statement from the Kagiso police’s Captain Solomon Sibiya he explained that the police were called out to a murder scene at the Soul City informal settlement on July 25, 2019.

They found the body of a 17-year-old girl in the bushes behind the municipal offices near Tudor Road. The girl had been reported missing the week before and she had multiple injuries to her head and body.

The man in the picture can assist police with information that could lead to the successful arrest of the person or persons responsible,” Sibiya said.
