Curro learners show their athletics skills
On your marks, get set, go! Learners from Curro Primary went head-to-head during their interhouse event.
Curro Krugersdorp Primary School learners came together for their annual interhouse athletics event recently.
Participating teams included Ignus, Ventus, Aqua and Terra who battled it out in various disciplines.

According to the school’s head of marketing, Amoryn Wright, the day featured a thrilling mix of sprints, middle- and long-distance races, hurdles, and more.
“Learners gave their all, pushing their limits and showcasing both skill and perseverance. The loud and enthusiastic support from their peers and parents added to the electrifying atmosphere, proving that school spirit was just as important as speed and stamina.
What stood out was the incredible enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by all participants.
“The dedication of the learners, combined with the unwavering support from the stands, made this event a true celebration of athleticism and teamwork. ‘A heartfelt thank you goes out to the parents, staff, and learners who made the day such a success. Curro Krugersdorp Primary School looks forward to many more exciting sporting events in the future,” Wright concluded.
