• Ensure your alarm is in a full working condition at all times
• Don’t store valuables in unsecured areas as criminals use this to their advantage to avoid alarm detection. “Should you feel that your premises is not adequately protected, contact the Mapogo Sales team for a free assessment of your premises and your alarm system.”
• Ensure that your alarm battery is in a good working condition. “Load shedding is not something of the past and it remains your responsibility to ensure that you and your family are adequately protected during these dark times.”
• Avoid false alarms. “False alarms within the security industry are a very big concern as this waste valuable time and resources should any other real emergency occurs.”
