Criminals crash car in reported hijacking gone wrong

'At least two people were seen being loaded into an ambulance while a woman is getting the necessary medical attention' – News journalist on scene.

Mego Street and Albertina Sisulu Road in Lewisham are presently the scene of a crime following an alleged hijacking gone bad.

News journalist Natasha Pretorius reported from the scene that ‘a SUV was reportedly hijacked and suspects tried to flee from police before they [unknown number of suspects] crashed the vehicle’.

“It seems another vehicle was involved. At least two people were seen being loaded into an ambulance while a woman is getting the necessary medical attention. Among those currently at the scene include Public Safety, First Help, a security company and police from Krugersdorp, Roodepoort as well as Kimberley,” Pretorius said.

Police did not want to give a statement at this stage.
