Break-ins top the list of crime in Mogale this past week – EPR

EPR security's latest incident report shows that the company responded to 20 calls between January 30 and February 5. Most of these were break-ins.

It looks like break-ins and robberies are fast catching up with theft as the most committed crimes in Mogale according to EPR Security’s latest crime report which revealed they responded to 20 incidents in seven days.

The report which spans from January 30 to February 5 shows that this security company responded to five break-ins, four theft cases, and three robberies during this time. There were also four incidents of damage to property, two assault incidents a medical and trespassing incident reported.

Of these the most occurred in the Krugersdorp CBD with five incidents being reported there, two in Krugersdorp North and another two in Monument. Other places where incidents occurred were Rangeview, Reydal, Kenmare, Krugersdorp West, Munsieville, Delporton, Luipaardsvlei, Silverfields, Mindalore, Protearif and Wentworth park.

Twelve of these happened at businesses with only one happening at a school and the rest at residential addresses.

On Saturday, February 4 there were five incidents reported and most of the 20 incidents happened between midnight and midday.
