Krugersdorp police urge residents to call them instead
The Krugersdorp Police urges the community to call them rather than each other or a security company in a time of need.

The Krugersdorp Police is concerned about the increase in housebreaking and theft crimes in the area, but much more so that the community does not notify them when it occurs.
Krugersdorp Police spokesperson Captain Raymond Sebonyane said that when owners or neighbours see a crime in progress, they phone security and not the police.
Adding that neighbours will even call the owner instead of the police.

He explained that in a recent incident, a resident heard people in his yard and did not call the police.
