‘For sale criminals’ are out and about, warns local CPF
The local CPF is warning residents of a new crime trend where criminals pretend they are interested in buying your house.

The Krugersdorp Community Policing Forum (CPF) would like to warn the public about a new crime trend that has been on the increase recently.
According to a statement issued by the CPF, the new trend involves criminals being dubbed the ‘house for sale’ opportunists.
“It is normally three or more perpetrators trying to enter the house or property to purchase. Please do not open your gates or house for any person interested in seeing the house.”
They advised that if you are in the process of selling your house or property you only let people in who have made an appointment with your estate agent.
“If it is a private sale, they must make an appointment at a later stage when the owner is not alone at home. Please take all their details, including their car registration number, model and colour of the vehicle and send the info immediately to the CPF.”
