Cash-in-transit heist in Kagiso leaves five vehicles severely damaged

A cash-in-transit (CIT) heist has occurred on Masedi Street in Kagiso this morning, August 3.
The incident has reportedly left five vehicles severely damaged.
According to eyewitness Tebogo Mashinini, the CIT van was chased by two other vehicles believed to be robbers who bombed the CIT van in order grab the cash.
Police have confirmed to the News that there will be updates once all evidence have been gathered.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes for the time being.
