Vehicle theft syndicate arrested
A suspected vehicle theft syndicate was arrested in Rant-en-Dal on November 23.
The Krugersdorp News is currently on the scene in Cecil Knight Street, where the road has been closed for a Gauteng Traffic Police helicopter that landed after an alleged syndicate was arrested.
According to a police source, the group of suspects who used two vehicles were located and arrested at about 12:50.
“The intelligence team compromises JHB police’s K9 unit, Gauteng Traffic Police’s Airwing, CAP Specialised Operations and Tracker Connect,” the source added.
