Cops arrest seven suspects in drug bust

Drug dealers and abusers are rife but the Krugersdorp Police’s Flying Squad recently revealed several busts between the period of January 14 and 22.

According to Karen du Plessis, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police’s Flying Squad, they have arrested seven suspects for the possession of drugs, where most of them were in and around the Kagiso area.

She explained this was due to the Flex Squad, which is responsible for keeping drugs and dealers off the streets.

“We confiscated 27g of Crystal Meth worth around R8 127, 27 Mandrax tablets worth R1 782 and 10g Nyaope worth around R450,” she confirmed.
