Fake pistol used in Muldersdrift smallholding robbery
Two robbers were ultimately arrested thanks to a joint effort between the community and security.
On the morning of Wednesday, January 22, there was a robbery on a small holding in the Muldersdrift area.
According to Guardmax Protection Services director Jan Venter, two suspects entered a staff quarters on the smallholding where they robbed staff members of numerous valuable personal items.

“Community members got alerted and assisted in capturing the suspects which ultimately led to their arrest,” he explained.
Venter concluded Muldersdrift police attended to the scene and the suspects were handed over to them for further investigation.
A fake pistol and knife were also found in the robbers’ possession.
