e-Gov installs CCTV cameras at several sites in Muldersdrift to prevent crime.
With high crime being an issue in the Muldersdrift area, E-Government (e-Gov) closed circuit TVs (CCTV) have now been installed at several sites.
Councillor Shenan Cochrane said some of these sites include Beyers Naude at the N14 intersection and the infamous Pinehaven intersection.
“Many will have seen them being erected last week. The cameras are solar-powered and are monitored remotely,” she explained.
“We welcome any crime prevention initiatives that will aid in the fight against crime,” she concluded.
