More dangerous criminals taken off the streets, including drug dealer
From arresting a wanted man in Mohlakeng to arresting a drug dealer in Krugersdorp, the West Rand Flying Squad is making their presence felt.

Several arrests were made for various crimes thanks to the police’s West Rand Flying Squad (WRFS).

Spokesperson for the WRFS, Karen du Plessis shared some of their successes from March 10 to 17.
“This includes a drug bust and thefts to recovering a stolen vehicle,” she said.
On March 12, they arrested a suspect for dealing drugs and seized 4g of Crystal Meth with an estimated value of R1 204.
“On March 13, a suspect, who was wanted in Mohlakeng for the theft of R3 500, was traced, found and arrested in Randfontein,” she explained.
She added that on March 15, they found and recovered a stolen Toyota minibus in Carletonville, worth an estimated R40 000.
“On March 17, our officers also conducted a stop and search near Munsieville where three suspects were arrested with stolen property in a Nissan NP200 bakkie. Some of the goods included tools and electronics,” she concluded.
