Langley’s vigilance, tireless efforts, and unwavering commitment to sharing critical intelligence have made a significant difference, not just in his local neighbourhood but across the entire West Rand region.
The CCIN, a powerful force in the fight against crime, brings together civilians, law enforcement, emergency services, security companies, Community Policing Forums (CPF), and neighbourhood watches under one unified banner. At its core is a simple yet powerful idea – when communities work together, they become safer.
Johnny Loots, CEO of BCI Security, emphasised that the true strength of the CCIN lies in its people, the heroes who go above and beyond to protect their communities. Each month, the initiative recognises these exceptional individuals with an Outstanding Achievement Award.
This month, we are proud to honour Langley. His relentless commitment and proactive approach in sharing critical intelligence have directly contributed to making our communities safer,” said Loots.
Langley’s contributions extend beyond routine crime prevention. His work, often in collaboration with the E2 Project – a partnership between security companies and the police that accelerates communication and response times – has proven invaluable in ensuring that crime-related information is swiftly shared, and threats are effectively neutralised.
“Langley’s dedication is a reminder that safety is a shared responsibility. His actions demonstrate how one person’s determination can inspire an entire network to be vigilant and proactive,” Loots added.
The CCIN’s Outstanding Achievement Award is not just a recognition but a testament to the power of community collaboration in the fight against crime.
