Five poachers taken down in Muldersdrift bust
A security company acted swiftly, which ultimately led to the arrest of five poachers caught with cut-up animal carcasses in Muldersdrift.
On May 18, a local security company made a huge bust when they caught five poachers in the Muldersdrift area.

Jan Venter, director of Guardmax Protection Services, revealed that along with Muldersdrift police, they tracked down and arrested the poachers.
“They were transporting bags of cut-up animal carcasses, which are suspected to have been poached at a farm in the Cradle of Humankind,” he stated.
The five were taken to Muldersdrift Police Station for processing and will appear in court on Tuesday, May 20,” he concluded.
