Hijacker caught and car recovered in Kagiso
In a joint effort, law enforcement arrested one hijacker in Kagiso who targeted a vehicle in Krugersdorp North.
During routine patrols and monitoring in the West Rand District, law enforcement received information from vehicle tracking company Rentrak about a vehicle hijacked in Krugersdorp North.

According to Gauteng provincial spokesperson Dimakatso Sello, the police acted on information received through a tip-off.
The units collaborated, and the vehicle was successfully recovered in Sinqobile, Kagiso. One person was arrested,” Sello confirmed.
The law enforcement involved in the bust includes members of the Gauteng Traffic Wardens, Gauteng Traffic Police and the police’s West Rand Flying Squad.
