Robert Broom shooting: Attempted murder under investigation

Police respond to the shooting, which took place during peak hour traffic.

A case of attempted murder has been opened following this morning’s (September 11) shooting on Robert Broom Drive.

According to Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, an investigation is ongoing and no official arrests were made.

At the scene, the Krugersdorp News saw one of the vehicles involved, which appeared to belong to a taxi association.

However, the exact role of the driver or occupants of this vehicle is unclear, as police could not comment further at this stage.
