EPR Security received a phone call from a resident on Andries Pretorius Street in Monument at about 19:09 on February 5, reporting a possible vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, the security response team found the vehicle abandoned in the veld with no occupants.

According to EPR’s general manager, Johan Krogh, the police were contacted and informed that the vehicle had been hijacked earlier that day in Wentworth Park. The scene was handed over to the police for further investigation.
