How to submit your water and electricity meter readings
The municipality explains how residents can now submit their municipal water and electricity meters' readings via the app.
Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) is reminding the community that residents can now submit their municipal water and electricity meter readings personally via the My Municipal Meter app.

MCLM communications officer, Refilwe Mahlangu wishes to give the following steps on how to submit your readings:
• Download the app from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or the Huawei App Gallery
• Register on the app by using your cell number or email address
• Select Mogale City as your service provider
• Enter your municipal account number
• Select the meter number, take a photo of your meter, enter your readings and submit it
“To maintain a consistent 30-day billing cycle, all meter readings must be submitted on the same date every month by the third week of each month to ensure they are processed for the current billing cycle.
Readings submitted after the third week of the month will only be processed in the next billing cycle,” she concluded.
