#WestRandWaterWatch: Need water during the maintenance? Here’s how to get a tanker

Mogale City informs residents on the situation regarding water tanker deployment.

With widespread water outages expected due to Rand Water’s planned maintenance, Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) has provided more insight into what residents can expect.

According to MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu, it is currently difficult to predict which areas may experience reduced water pressure or a complete loss of supply, as this will depend on overall consumer demand during the disruption period.

To ensure effective communication, Mahlangu advised residents to report any water outages directly to their ward councillors, especially when water tankers are needed.

Ward councillors will then escalate these requests to the Water Services team, who will coordinate the deployment of water tankers to affected areas as required,” she said.
