MCLM to register Pangoville residents for free basic services

Mogale City Local Municipality is conducting registrations for Pangoville residents – here’s what you’ll need to bring.

Residents of the Pangoville informal settlement will soon be able to register for free basic services offered by the Mogale City Local Municipality’s (MCLM) indigent management division.

The registration drive will take place for Ward 25 in Munsieville on October 18 at Project Hope (The Children’s Embassy) from 08:00 to noon, MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu confirmed.

Residents wishing to register are required to bring the following documents:

• Proof of income, the latest three months’ bank statements, or an affidavit if unemployed
• SASSA confirmation letter (if a social grant recipient)
• Certified copies of identity documents for yourself, your spouse and dependants
• Prepaid electricity slip
• Proof of address
• Proof of marital status (marriage certificate, divorce decree, proof of customary union or death certificate)

Mahlangu added that residents may be asked to provide additional documents if required during registration.
