Water check meter installation on track in Mogale City
Relief measures are under way as technicians secure the newly installed system to restore supply.
Mogale City residents can expect water restoration by 18:00 today, October 14, following planned maintenance that began yesterday.
Refilwe Mahlangu, assistant to Mogale City Local Municipality’s Media and PR manager, said about 75% of the work is complete and that the check meter has been successfully installed.

“The team is currently securing the meter and closing off the work area,” she said.
Water tankers are being dispatched in co-ordination with relevant ward councillors to provide relief to affected areas.
The municipality thanked affected residents for their patience and understanding.
