TFA team thanks Municipality

The N'zuri team comprises the toughest firefighters alive and they fall under the West Rand District Municipality.

Following an article in the News’ September 30 edition the toughest firefighters would like to thank the West Rand District Municipality as well for their support.

The team with the nickname N’zuri which means ‘lekker’ in Swahile consisted of members from Working on Fire as well as firefighters from the WRDM who all work at the Krugersdorp fire station, station 38 in Mogale City.

Four of their members work for the WRDM and five members are from WoF.

The N’zuri team comprises the toughest firefighters alive and they fall under the West Rand District Municipality.

They would like to thank the management of the WRDM and WoF who supported them by allowing them to practise at station 38.

The team members were Ontiretse Pule, Lesego Molikwe, Bongiwe Khubeka, Maite Thoka, Manie Gouws, Thato Molefe, Gift Molejwe, Thulani Ngozo and Sam Mokemane.

The following people also made it possible for the team to compete by sponsoring them: Louw & Heyl Attorneys, Dr Phil vd Bergh, DT Stokes, Sneag & Wienand, Laerskool Millennium, M&J Mining, Technical Traders and Members of Joint Ops Group.
