Theft a problem in Mogale according to Mapogo’s crime report

Mapogo responded to five incidents in the first few days of 2023.

Mapogo Security responded to five incidents in the first few days of 2023 with most of the incidents being theft.

This was outlined in their most recent crime report.

The team responded to a theft in Tarlton on January 3 at 08:04 when a suspect had gained entry onto the premises through an electric fence. The suspect then poisoned the two dogs and stole 300 chickens.

On January 5 another theft took place in Rustenburg Road at 09:13. The thief got onto the property and stole one light from the building. Then the next day, January 6 at 23:04 in Renoster Street, Rant-en-Dal, a suspect jumped over a palisade fence and stole a gas bottle.

On January 8 at 19:03 the team responded to an attempted theft in Luipaard Street in Wentworth Park. When the thief cut the electric fence to get onto the property, the alarm sounded – cutting the culprit’s plan short.
