‘Go well, Mama’ – Kagiso Police to brave CPF chair

Former Kagiso Community Policing Forum chairperson Marry Motsepe has bid farewell to the community which she has been serving for eight years.

The Kagiso Police recently gave former Kagiso Community Policing Forum (CPF) chairperson, Marry Motsepe, a send-off of note.

According to Kagiso Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya, Marry has been relocated to the Roodepoort policing precinct.

During the farewell, the acting Kagiso Police Station Commanders Colonel Mabuso and Colonel Greyling both gave farewell speeches to the woman who worked tirelessly for the Kagiso community for more than eight years.

“As a small token of appreciation and acknowledgment for her contributions to the fight against crime, the management bought Motsepe a warm beautiful quality blanket. The station’s finance head, Lieutenant Colonel Duploy, and his office also took time from their offices to prepare lunch for the outgoing CPF chair and her patrollers.”

The previous CPF Chairperson Joshua John, CPF Patrollers, and Victim Empowerment staff also attended the farewell.

‘Go well Mama’, was the message from her patrollers who acknowledged her ability and potential to make them realise their purpose as partners of the police.
