The non-profit organisation was found by Pastor Kyle Tolman in 2017 after witnessing young men and women in the streets being affected by drugs and homelessness. He took it upon himself to change the narrative and then founded the organisation with his wife, Nicole Tolman.

The event was not only about raising funds. It highlighted the issues faced by the youth, many in attendance also had the chance to know more about the organisation, their main objectives and what type of programmes they have for the troubled youth. They presented various programmes that they use to assist the youth.

They include a mentorship program that aims to help young men with absent fathers, House Nehemiah Programme that provides shelter for children who come from abusive households, Project Esther which is a home based care program that aims to assist single-headed households for a temporary period with food and basic needs to break the poverty cycle for the children.
