Monument Rotary Club inducts new president

Rotary International continues to make strides in Krugersdorp and recently inducted new leaders.

Considered a momentous occasion, the Monument Rotary Club held an induction function to welcome their new president, Jeanne Moreland.

Jeanne was welcomed with open arms by Rotary members at Silverstar on July 13 and is she ready to make a difference in her community. Now among the leadership group, Jeanne said she is ready to take on the new role.

Jeanne Moreland is being inducted as the new president of the Monument Rotary Club.

“I want to make a huge impact on the residents of Krugersdorp,” she said.

Rotary International continues to make strides in helping society become a safer and better place for all. While many will look at the club and its accomplishments from an international level, it is important to put the spotlight on the local clubs that continue to play their role in improving local areas as well.

Monument Rotary Club has been around for over 83 years with a rich history of working with NGOs including The Cradle of Hope, The Gideon’s Bible Association, The Gateway School, The Bethany House Trust, The Tower of Life, The Teddy Bear Clinic, Krugersdorp Child Welfare Centre and Glow 4 Jesus Community Church.
