Rotarians play bingo for a good cause

Rotarians and residents from all over Krugersdorp recently attended a bingo night in Muldersdrift all for a good cause and a great time.

The Monument Rotary Club held their annual bingo night at a social club in Muldersdrift on August 4 which was a fun and exciting way of raising funds.

The club, which is over 40 years old, recently introduced new leaders that will spearhead the club in reaching its charity goals and making the community a better place.

The bingo night was the highlight of the evening as many people all had fun and were very enthused each time numbers were called out. Participants had to pay a fee for each game they would like to participate in. The funds raised would be used towards community projects for the club.

For those who are unfamiliar with the club, they embark on various community projects by working with NGOs including The Cradle of Hope, The Bethany House Trust, The Tower of Life, The Teddy Bear Clinic, Krugersdorp Child Welfare Centre, and Glow 4 Jesus Community Church.
