Come and support local firefighters

Help support local firefighters to achieve their dreams.

On June 1, the Friends of Emergency Services (FES) is hosting a fundraising run on behalf of the West Rand District Team n’Zuri.

According to FES member Dale Mac Rae, the funds raised will go to Team n’Zuri, which will compete in the Toughest Firefighter Alive (TFA) competition in Germany later this year.

This run will be hosted at the Khosa Club at 08:00.

“Challenge yourself against South Africa’s best and see how many one kilometre laps you can complete in our 50km event,” Dale said.

The dress code is as a regular runner, or your team can dress in outlandish costumes. It will cost R1 200 for a team of six, R150 for an individual, and R50 for a child.

“All funds raised will support the West Rand District team’s dream of competing in the international TFA competition,” Dale concluded.
