Cowboy Town car show exists to connect like-minded petrol heads.

Cowboy Town hosted a car show to get like-minded petrol heads together.

According to the organiser, Mia Mare, this was a car show, which took place on June 17, to get people together to share their passion for cars.

“This show is free for everybody to enter and any person was welcome to show their car for free,” she said.

Jan Smit, Tristin, Yolandi, Marlien and Ferdinand Appelcryn attended the show.

“We do this to bring the automotive community together, where we reached out to the community to spread the word of the show so that we could get as many cars as possible. We host this event four times a year, on public holidays, to get people together,” Mia added.

The Krugersdorp News attended the event and hundreds of petrol heads came out to socialise about cars and their passion for it. There were many interesting cars including Mustangs, Corvettes, Morris Minors and classic Mercedes-Benzes.

One of the attendees was 17-year-old Liam Botha of the Late Crate Motor Association, with his 1971 Datsun 1200 GX, where he said he enjoyed it, and it was one of the busiest shows that he attended with his car.
