Kagiso water update: Majority of area has water

Mogale City Municipality updates Kagiso residents on water levels.

Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) has updated Kagiso residents on the water situation as low reservoir levels affect several areas.

Refilwe Mahlangu, the MCLM assistant manager for Media and PR, said on September 10 that most of Kagiso has water, with the local tower at 76% capacity.

“Although the reservoir is still at 5%, the provincial task team is still helping to fix the problems affecting the area,” she said.

She encouraged residents to continue using water sparingly to help the system stabilise.
