Burgershoop tent camp burns to the ground
More than 20 already homeless people's tents burnt to the ground in a camp near a rugby club in Burgershoop recently.
A tent camp near Harlequins Rugby Club in Burgershoop went up in flames causing devastation during the late hours of July 5.
According to Mogale City Ward 20 councillor Mark Trump, a case of arson has been opened.

He said at least eight tents were completely burnt to the ground leaving roughly 25 people with no shelter or a home.
The exact circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire are unknown, however, residents in town are urged to assist those affected by donating tents, blankets, and clothing.
