Abraham van Wyk Road in Muldersdrift currently impassable

Motorists are advised to avoid the Pikoko informal settlement area until the road has been cleared.

After the protest at the Pikoko informal settlement on May 27, melted chemical toilets remain strewn across the road.

The Krugersdorp News is on the scene, where debris from melted chemical toilets is blocking the roadway.

There is currently no police presence, and residents are now burning waste from their dumping site.

Motorists and truck drivers are advised to avoid the area until the road is cleared.
